The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams – Oprah Winfrey

With a long day ahead of us, we started a bit earlier and enjoyed our long shadows.

Arrived in Logrono about 3:30 pm which has been a typical arrival time for us. Speed while moving was 3 mph for the entire day! Best by far. We walked 17.9 miles today and our 7 day total is 107.7 miles. I am feeling great so far, no aches or pains, no blisters. I did have a bad leg cramp at 5 am with 6 serious cramping waves, a personal wave record for me. This was my first leg cramp of the trip.

Today was excellent, the perfect walking day: sunny and cool at the 7:45 am start, blue skies with white puffy clouds, nice paths almost all day with very little pavement, a mild breeze, mostly flat or gradual paths with a handful of short but steep uphill grades, and a few villages paced ideally for coffee breaks. And zero rain until well after we arrived in Logrono, a large city of 155,000 people and very little vehicle traffic...so different than a US city.

Blaze and Chum are doing well, with some soreness and Chum a bit more so. Tomorrow is a rest day then 19 miles the following day. Met young ladies from Denmark, Brazil, and Hungary today. Lots more solo traveling girls than guys. Guys must be at home playing video games while the women are traveling the world!

Lots of folks with various aches and pains today. Some of the early in the trip people we saw or met have dropped behind or just disappeared.
